This report, Modernizing Scholarship for the Public Good, outlines a blueprint for action that public universities can leverage to accelerate research that addresses such intractable challenges. It provides a research-informed roadmap for shaping our institutions to better serve society and meet the increasingly complex challenges that confront us. Importantly, the report provides concrete examples of public research universities that have accelerated publicly engaged research through action in one or more of eight strategic areas.
