February 2024 CoP Infographic: "Peer researcher training"

February's Community of Practice explored the topic of peer researcher training: capacity building and engagement of peers for successful research outcomes, with guest speaker Akm Alamgir, Director of Knowledge & Learning at Access Alliance (Toronto).

Here’s a summary of what CoP participants shared in response to: 1) challenges and opportunities of engaging peers in research; 2) key considerations for recruiting peers at different levels of research activities; and 3) best practices for training peer researchers at these various stages of research.
