Applications Open: The College and Community Social Innovation Fund (CCSIF) 2024 Grants Competition

Are you passionate about driving positive change in your community through innovative research?


Lambton College has opened the College and Community Social Innovation Fund (CCSIF) grants competition for 2024! Managed by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, in collaboration with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, this initiative provides an opportunity for researchers, students, and partners to collaborate on transformative projects.


About CCSIF: The CCSIF program aims to support collaborative and innovative research that addresses challenges in community innovation across various fields, including social sciences, humanities, health sciences, natural sciences, and engineering. Projects may focus on crucial areas such as the integration of vulnerable populations, community development, education and training, climate change, environmental degradation, as well as health and well-being.


Funding Details:

  • Up to $120,000 per year

  • Project duration: One to three years

  • Increased budget envelope: $6 million in total funding available, thanks to the 2023 federal budget investment in the CCI program.

📆 Application Deadline: March 1, 2024, before 8:00 pm (Eastern Time).
