Are you working to support people experiencing or at imminent risk of experiencing homelessness in rural, remote, First Nation and Métis settlement communities in Alberta? Reaching Home funding applications for 2024-2026 are now open. The Rural Development Network has been given approximately $4M in federal Reaching Home funding to distribute across rural, remote and Indigenous communities and organizations in Alberta to support responses to homelessness. Approved projects will be eligible to start as early as April 1st, 2024 and end as late as March 31, 2026.
Apply below now! Please note that this year there are three types of applications: the general application, the application for current Reaching Home projects, and the Indigenous application. Please review the application guide to determine which application your organization should complete.
Applications close February 9th at 11:59 pm MDT.
If you are interested in applying for Reaching Home funding, we strongly encourage you to register for one of the upcoming information sessions, which are starting next week.
