Community-Based Research Summer Institute

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Community-Based Research Summer Institute. The Summer 2026 Cohort is now open.

Key Registration Dates and Details:​

  • Dates: August 17-21st 2026. Classes will be held virtually over Zoom daily from 12 to 2:30pm ET

  • Registration opens April 14. Payment due upon registration.

  • Refund Policy: Full refund issues (minus $50 administration fee) prior to August 3, 2026. No refunds afterwards.

  • Fee: $500 plus HST. 

  • Members Only: The Summer Institute is intended for students, postdoctoral fellows, or recent graduates (within 2 years) of CBRCanada member organizations. New / early career staff or faculty may be considered.

Note: Completing this registration form does not guarantee registration. Individuals will be contacted for payment if they are accepted into the institute, or will be notified if they have not been registered. Registration will prioritize students, post-doctoral fellow, and recent graduates over faculty and staff, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
