Short Description: Understanding Dene ways of knowing and worldviews. The tactile and kinaesthetic ways of Dene learning requires safe spaces to create opportunities for cultural confidence to grow. Dene pedagogy puts a heavy emphasis on creativity and imagination as survival skills. It is the stories we share that help position ourselves on the lands, waters and climate of the circumpolar world. It also goes a long ways to how we relate to ourselves and one another, through Treaties and opportunities to learn about each other.
