About the Event

We will celebrate together the 21st anniversary of the Living Knowledge Network and the successful ending of the InSpires project. We hope to see you all!

The Online Festival aims to bring together all those involved in doing or supporting research with and for communities. What can we learn from each other’s approaches? How can we collaborate? Which links have been forged and which could we still make? Presenters will share their efforts to co-create and share new knowledge for an inclusive, equitable, healthy and sustainable society.

The Online Festival offers you:

• Pre-recorded video presentations, which you can watch at your convenience in any time zone. The ‘comment’ option can be used for questions or discussions. • Workshops and live panel sessions • Discussion sessions on the different thematic strands in the conference • A social space in Gather.Town, where you can meet with presenters and other participants, have your own Open Space meeting, or go for a chat or a virtual drink with old and new friends

The Festival is organized by the Science Shops at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, in collaboration with international partners of the Living Knowledge Network, especially the InSpires consortium.

The InSPIRES project is coming to an end after 4 ½ years…. It has been such a great adventure during which our eight partner institutions have been learning a lot and working on the concept of Science Shops in their specific local contexts, in Europe but also in Tunisia and Bolivia. Our team will be delighted to share with you our main achievements during the LK Festival, such as our InSPIRING stories, our training materials, our Open Platform and Impact Evaluation methodology and online tool, and much more. We hope to see all the community reunited and we thank the LK network for giving us space during the Festival to celebrate the end of our project.
