Symposium on Decolonizing Research: Participatory and Community-Based Approaches
Using a conversation café model, participants will exchange ideas and experiences on how to contribute to the decolonization of knowledge, and generate action for social change. Participants will also learn about innovative, community-engaged research methods.

*This is an in-person event, for UFV staff, faculty, and students, plus invited community partners only.*
Using a conversation café model, participants will exchange ideas and experiences on how to contribute to the decolonization of knowledge, and generate action for social change. Participants will also learn about innovative, community-engaged research methods.
Co-generated ideas from this symposium will be critical inputs for the formulation of a university-wide decolonization of research toolkit and web-based resources.
