About the Event

CBRCanada Community of Practice

Community of Practice meetings actively bring together CBRCanada members from across Canada to engage in meaningful discussions. All CBRCanada members involved in community-based research are welcome, whether you are a researcher, peer-researcher, student, project coordinator, administrator, director, or community leader. Our CoP promotes networking, co-learning, and exchange of new/emerging best practices.


The group meets on Zoom the second Friday of every month from 12-1pm Eastern Time. Meetings are one hour, informal, and discussion-based. Each month is a different topic with a different guest facilitator who begins the session by introducing the topic for discussion. We then launch into break-out group discussions where participants exchange ideas. By signing up you will receive re-occurring calendar invitations for the entire year (September 2024 to June 2025).
