About the Event
Once a term join Dagen Perrott and Jess Klassen for this introductory session on Community-Based Research (CBR) and the Manitoba Research Alliance (MRA). The session will cover some of the core principles of CBR, its history, and provide relevant case studies of what CBR looks like in practice. Participants will become familiar with what it means for research to be community-led, participatory, action oriented, and involve meaningful relationships. Participants will also have the chance to connect with Jess Klassen, the project coordinator for the MRA, to learn about upcoming MRA opportunities, events, and research.
For those interested in learning more about CBR and getting connected with the opportunities to be a part of it in Manitoba, this session is a perfect place to start.
