About the Event

Course description 

The University of Victoria has just launched a new strategic plan focused on creating innovative approaches towards harmony in people, place and planet.

Taught by leaders in their field, you will gain methods, tools and strategies towards participatory methods and practices including collaborative planning, designing for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and more. This course offers a range of understandings of and approaches to working in community engaged settings with opportunities for participants to develop relationships, and share experiences from different perspectives.

This course is certified by CIFAL Victoria. CIFAL provides certification for training courses that build the capabilities of individuals and communities towards the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Participants who successfully complete this course are eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion co-signed by UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research) and CIFAL Victoria.
