Celebrating Community-Based Research Excellence: The National Overdose Response Service

In this event Dr. Monty Ghosh presented on a collaboration with Lisa Morris-Miller, CEO of Greenfell Ministries, to design the National Overdose Response Service (NORS). This community-campus collaboration won CBRCanada's 2025 Community-Campus Partnership Award. NORS is a virtual supervised consumption service helping to ensure people do not use alone when they are using substances. This presentation provides an overview of the service, a discussion of how this community-campus partnership was formed, and a review of the evidence of service outcomes so far.
