Community-Based Research Canada Member
CHEC is an association of faith-based higher education institutions that includes 34 accredited, degree-granting institutions representing a broad spectrum of undergraduate and graduate higher education. The Research Network includes faculty from: Ambrose University (AB), Booth University College (MB), Canadian Mennonite University (MB), Crandall University (NB), King’s University (AB), Institute for Christian Studies (ON), Providence University College & Seminary (MB), Redeemer University College (ON), Trinity Western University (BC) and Tyndale University College & Seminary (ON).
Faculty from our 34 member institutions conduct research in a wide variety of fields in the arts, sciences, humanities and social sciences. Faculty in the community based research network have focused on research projects in areas such as immigration and settlement, poverty reduction, Indigenous communities, social health and assisting churches to thrive.
