Manager of Network Initiatives,
Community Foundations of Canada

Board Member

Anny Champoux is Manager of Network Initiatives, at Community Foundations of Canada. Her ability to listen, her genuineness and her efficiency are strengths which support her to reach her goals. What motivates her? The impact she can make in community.

After working for 15 years in Nova Scotia’s Acadian community, Anny’s commitment to the Canadian Francophonie, and her passion for how arts can be integrated in a school environment led her to the Fédération culturelle canadienne-française, in Ottawa. It was here that she coordinated the National Table on the Language-culture-education Link. Since her return to Québec, she has been involved in advocacy, journalism and economic, social and philanthropic development.

Anny has extensive experience in communications, project management and fundraising, at local, provincial and national levels. She is also a deft mediator in cross-sector partnership projects, bringing people together to move things forward. Her areas of interest are the environment, territorial food system, social housing, as well as culture, civic participation and youth.
